Smarter Balanced (ELA, Mathematics), CAAs (ELA Mathematics) - Grades 3, 8, and 11

The assessments that comprise the  2019-20 CAASPP administration are computer-adaptive tests and performance tasks that allow students to show what they know and can do. This system is based on the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) for English language arts/literacy (ELA) and mathematics.
 
CAST (California Science Test) - Grades 5, 8, and High School
March 22, 2021 - May 24, 2021
California Science Test (CAST)—aligned with the California Next Generation Science Standards (CA NGSS)—and California Alternate Assessment for Science—linked to the CA NGSS performance expectations.
 
CAA (California Alternate Assessment for Science) - Grades 3, 8, High School
October 3, 2020 - May 24, 2021
The CAA for Science is administered to all eligible students in grades five and eight and one time in high school in grades ten, eleven, or twelve. The CAA for Science is administered as four separate embedded performance tasks (PTs) that are integrated into each student’s instruction
 
ELPAC (English Language Proficiency Assessments for California) All Grades
The English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) is the successor to the California English Language Development Test (CELDT).  The ELPAC is the required state test for English language proficiency (ELP) that must be given to students whose primary language is a language other than English.
